Hair pins are great as a stand alone hair accessory or mixed with other hairpins, but did you know they can also be used to "build out" another headpiece into a striking statement look?

Depending on where you wish to place your accessories, smaller pieces mixed together sometimes allow for more versatility and ease of placement than one larger one. This is especially true if your hair is finer, or if you're placing accessories in a way that naturally "defies gravity".

Take Molly's look, for example. Although she wanted a hair vine, she wanted to place it quite low on the back of her head. A larger, heavy hair vine comb would pull at the bottom of her hair, straining the beautiful back braid above.

To make sure this didn't happen, we created a custom set for her that would create the illusion of a hair vine. This set included a crystal hair comb plus 3 hairpins.

As you can see below, the result was pure perfection! An effortless, nature-inspired statement headpiece designed to stand up to a full day of festivities.
